Video of the Charred Angeles Crest Highway

Fire in South­ern Cal­i­for­nia will always be a part of the hik­ing expe­ri­ence. Nearby, the Sta­tion Fire is now 93% con­tained, and is on track for full con­tain­ment by Sep­tem­ber 19th.

Like me, you have prob­a­bly dri­ven this stretch of the Ange­les Crest dozens, if not hun­dreds of times. You have never seen it like this.
